Welcome to Sewickley Montessori!
The Montessori method of education values the human spirit and the development of the whole child — physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. In our mixed-age classrooms, children experience interactive learning in an environment carefully prepared by an educator sensitive to each child’s needs and abilities.
Children choose their activities and discover our core curriculuim area: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural. This educational environment fosters respect, cooperation, order, and choice within limits. The school’s peaceful and non-competitive atmosphere also promotes strong character and values.

Montessori Parent Child Group
Join us with your infant or toddler for an eight-week program. We will engage in a one-hour class each week, followed by an opportunity to ask questions while the children enjoy a shared snack. A Guide will offer information and support conversations about the Montessori philosophy.

Dear Families,
We are excited to offer care over the summer – our summer program will be seamless for your children as they continue to work in our environments.
- Half-Day 8:30-11:30 ($165/Week)
- Full-Day 8:30-3:30 ($250/Week)
- Full-Day and Warp-Around 7:30-5:30 ($320/Week)
