Y Masters Swimming
The Y Masters Swim at the Sewickley Valley YMCA, a member team of the Allegheny Mountain YMCA/YWCA Masters Swimming Association (AMYMSA), offers adult competitive swimmers a wonderful opportunity to keep fit, challenge themselves, and make new friends. AMYMSA, established in 1976, has member teams from YMCAs and YWCAs across the Allegheny Mountain region, encompassing Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Open to YMCA members, it’s also an excellent way to stay active and have fun. The Y Masters Swim takes place in our large indoor pool. With 25 yards and six lanes, and a depth range of 3.5 feet to 12 feet, our large pool is heated to a comfortable 79-82 °F and open year-round.
Registration required. Once registered, you will receive the swimming workout directly from our Masters Coach via email.
Y Masters Swimming
Designed for competitive swimmers ages 18 and above, swimming workouts feature cardio interval training and exercises to boost endurance.
